Local Government Forestry Consultative Committee
The Local Government Forestry Consultative Committee (LGFCC) is a forum to discuss and resolve issues relating to forestry and local government in Tasmania. Membership is derived from local government and industry stakeholders.
The committee first met in August 2001 and its activities cover a broad range of issues including planning, society and community, infrastructure, water and communications.

Private Forests Tasmania
Private Forests Tasmania (PFT) is a Tasmanian government authority established under the Private Forests Act (1994) to promote the development of private forestry in Tasmania. With a broad range of industry experience it has a well integrated team often more likely to be seen in the field than the office. PFT has a hands on, face to face approach to industry support.
