Code of Practice for Timber Plantations in Western Australia
The Code of Practice for Timber Plantations in Western Australia was released in September 2006, replacing the Australian Forest Grower's Code of Practice for Timber Plantations in Western Australia 1997.
The Code has been developed by Forest Industries Federation (WA) Inc. (FIFWA), Forest Products Commission Western Australia, and Australian Forest Growers.
At this stage implementation of the Code is voluntary, however, adoption of the Code by plantation managers is strongly supported by the plantation industry.
